Josh Frayer

Josh has a Masters of Arts in Education (Curriculum/Instruction) from the University of Phoenix and a Bachelor in Music Education K-12 from SUNY Fredonia where he studied trombone under Karl Mazzio. He received an Associate in Applied Science in Music from Onodaga Community College where he studied trombone under Bill Harris.

Teaching

Josh is the full time music teacher (Band and Orchestra, grades 4-12) at the well known Washington International School in Washington DC, where he teaches concert and jazz band as well as multiple wind ensembles.

Over a Decade

He is a lesson instructor for percussion, woodwinds, and brass instruments as well as an in demand multi-instrumentalist (Woodwinds, Brass, and Percussion) in the DC area. He has been a vital part of the Rockville Swing Band since 2010.
